WHAT WE BELIEVE
(Otherwise known as Statement of Faith or Credo)
The Bible is God’s inspired & only infallible and authoritative Word
There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son & God the Holy Spirit
The Lord Jesus Christ is God in human flesh, having been incarnate by the Holy Spirit and Virgin Mary
The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ
Christ has inaugurated (started) the Kingdom of God, and will fully consummate it in his second coming
Regeneration by the Holy Spirit (Being born again) is essential for personal salvation The Holy Spirit has sanctifying power, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life
There will be a final resurrection and judgment, where God will judge the living and the dead. We believe the nature of Church is the corporate body of Jesus, the Churches’ taking part in the sacraments of baptism by water and communion representing the body and blood of Christ. We believe in the great commission and the power of the Holy Spirit to fulfill the great commission.
