Cycles for Credentials
We conduct one credentialing gathering annually in the Fall, which aligns with our national conference. Prospective applicants are encouraged to submit their applications as early as possible in the Spring.
To be considered for credentials, applicants must meet the following requirements based on the level of credential they are applying for:
A Spiritual Autobiographical Statement: A detailed narrative of the applicant's spiritual journey.
Submission of Assessments: Completed assessments such as Myers-Briggs, Enneagram, and DISC.
Evidence of Justice/Anti-Racist and Holistic Ministry Training: Proof of participation in relevant training programs.
Evidence of theological training of any kind in the form of transcripts.
Recommendations: Letters of recommendation from faith leaders and/or ministry partners.
Online Interview: A virtual interview with a member of the Executive Council.
Pathway for Preparation (Approved Training for Our Ministers):
Our ministers are expected to participate in one or more of the following currently approved training programs:
CHCCM Ordination Cohort (offered as needed)
Passion2Plant Network Just Church Cohort (offered every Fall) and/or Trauma-Informed Leaders Cohort (offered every Spring)
These programs ensure that our ministers are well-equipped to lead with a focus on justice, anti-racism, and holistic ministry.
